Laura Owens was sentenced to 30 days in jail and seven years of probation after a conviction tied to a fake pregnancy scheme. Prosecutors said Owens deceived multiple men by claiming she was pregnant to keep them in relationships, including former “Bachelor” lead Clayton Echard. They alleged she used false-positive pregnancy tests, altered images and another woman’s ultrasound. Owens apologized in court and said she was deeply sorry for the people she harmed.
