West Virginia is the most depressed state, study says

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (WVVA) - According to a study by WalletHub, West Virginia ranks last on the list of happiest states.

The study covers three areas, emotional and physical wellbeing, work environment as well as community environment. Each of those areas are scored based on four peer reviewed studies.

One of those studies reports that West Virginia has the highest share of reported adult depression in the nation.

The happiest state is reported to be Hawaii.
