Internet, phone services restored in Wyoming, McDowell counties

MCDOWELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WVVA) - Internet and phone services have been restored in parts of Wyoming and McDowell counties.

McDowell County 911 & Office of Emergency Services posted the update to Facebook saying service has been restored following a fiber cut.

The interruption lasted approximately four hours with 911 posting the original notice at 8:10 a.m. saying the interruption is caused by a fiber cut likely in the Oceana area.
