Jamie Leigh Reichert joined the WVVA news team in Dec 2021 as a Multimedia Journalist in our Beckley Bureau.
Jamie Leigh attended Vancouver Film School on a full scholarship and graduated from the Acting for Film & Television program in October 2020.
A native of Wyoming County, Jamie Leigh has always pursued her passion for film and travel. She spent the last two years in Vancouver, Canada, and Los Angeles, California pursuing her acting career.
Jamie Leigh is excited to start her career with WVVA and even happier to be serving the community she grew up in. When she is not working, she enjoys writing scripts for film & television, helping her mom on the farm, and growing flowers.
She is an avid Buckeyes fan because of her dad, but has a soft spot for WVU too. She also takes an interest in The Dodgers having lived in Los Angeles. Her favorite baseball players of all time are Jackie Robinson and Lou Gehrig.
