Alex Jackson is a reporter at WSAZ.
He started as an intern in fall of 2021 and began working part time as a photographer and producer in January of 2022.
Alex graduated from Marshall University in the spring of 2022 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
He was born and raised in West Virginia, so he feels right at home telling this region's stories.
Outside of work, he enjoys watching sports and collecting vinyl records.

Educators from across the state of West Virginia attended a panel Thursday to learn more about how they can better educate impoverished students.
The US Department of Health and Human Services says the ASL video chats launched last week and are available for callers who are deaf or hard of hearing.
The shooting happened at midnight Tuesday morning in the 1000 block of 2nd Avenue.
According to West Virginia State Police, James McGraw, 30, died as a result of the incident.
