BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (WVVA) - Robin Elaine Zimmerman is a Christian Author native to the Mountain State.

Zimmerman, originally from Greenbrier County, started her writing career working as a journalist for a magazine, she then became a newspaper reporter in 2013.

Since she enjoys writing, Zimmerman took on the challenge of writing her first book called “Terrebonne” a story based in 1856 about a grieving woman who transcends time and ends up finding healing in Louisiana. Robin describes the book as a Christian fiction novel of lost and found.

Although the book took her two decades to finish, Robin had a good reason. “I would go to writers conferences and come back and get inspired and pull it out and write some more or some event would happen in my life that would put a character in my head and I would add to it. At some point, about five years ago, I realized this was going to be a novel. This is going to be a book.”
