ATHENS, W.Va. (WVVA) - Concord university is offering free help in completing the 2022-2023 FAFSA.

It’s no secret that the free application for federal student aid is useful when it comes to paying for school. Filling out the FAFSA allows for students to get access to money they won’t have to pay back in the future. Those with the university say it’s not just for students who plan on attending Concord.

“We just want to make sure they get the most free aid. The West Virginia higher education grant, the Pell grant, that type of thing. If you don’t fill out the FAFSA by a certain deadline you miss out on some of that. So we just want to make sure they get all of the free aid that they’re eligible for.” said Director of Financial Aid for the school, Tammy Brown.

FAFSA Fridays will be held from 9 am and 3 pm each Friday during February and March. Participants are also welcome to meet via Zoom. You can register here: Concord University - FAFSA Friday
