A cold and blustery Wednesday is on the way
Temps will stay below freezing into midweek
As a front leaves our area, and cold NW flow builds in, temps will drop quickly tonight, especially after sundown. Eventually, low temps should hit the teens, if not the single digits for a few overnight-early Wednesday. We’ll be a bit breezy at times as well, so wind chills will be around zero, if not below for some, through early Wed AM.
A WIND CHILL ADVISORY is in effect for northwest Pocahontas county.
We could see a few stray snow flurries tonight-early tomorrow, but otherwise, we look cold and dry. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds on Wednesday overall, with highs in the 20s.
Wednesday night will be mainly clear and cold again, with lows well-below freezing, bottoming out in the teens and single digits.
We’ll get a brief moderation in temperature on Thursday- with highs looking to top off in the upper 30s and low 40s and some decent sunshine.
Another chance of SNOW will arrive on Friday. As of now, this doesn’t look to be a major winter storm, but we could at least see some light accumulations through the end of the work week. Low temps will be FRIGID Friday night-early Saturday, dropping to around 0 degrees F. Highs on Saturday will be in the teens for most...
