BLUEFIELD, Va. (WVVA) - Most college students look to relax over winter break. But a Senior at Bluefield University decided to use her holiday to help make a difference.
In December, Elisha Peña went through her closet and collected three garbage bags full of clothes. She then gave them to the homeless in Knoxville, Tennessee.
After performing the good deed, she decided to go back and hand out care bags. Those were full of hygiene products, socks, and blankets.
You can continue to watch Elisha’s good deeds on her Facebook page. It’s called Faith for the Future. She says, here, you can also donate to help her on her journey to serve others.
