BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (WVVA) - Two men from Buchanan County have been arrested and both are facing multiple charges.

On Friday, January 7th, the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call from the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office, they were told an adult female was being held against her will at a home in Buchanan County.

A search warrant was quickly issued to enter the residence in questioning. Deputies with the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the residence. The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team entered the home, found the female and then took her to safety. The female was unharmed.

Christopher S. Cochran, 32, and Travis J. Keen, 40, were both taken into custody without incident. Following the first warrant, a second search warrant was obtained. During their search of the residence, narcotics, drug paraphernalia, firearms, and other evidence were found and collected.

Both males are being charged in connection with abduction and drug violations.
