The annual New Year’s Eve Lemon Drop makes its return to Bluefield

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (WVVA) - The New Year’s Eve “Lemon Drop” is set to return to Bluefield!
The fun begins at 11-o’clock on Commerce Street with music. The highlight of the night is of course the Lemon Drop at the stroke of midnight.
City Ambassador Marie Blackwell says COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.
Over in Princeton, the virtual downtown countdown is once again planned for Mercer Street. At the stroke of midnight, you can expect a ball drop and fireworks.
The event will stream live on Facebook and YouTube.
