BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (WVVA) - The Concord men’s basketball team spent part of their Friday at MapleView Church of Christ in Bluefield helping out with a community service project for Case WV.

The team helped unload Christmas presents that will soon be distributed to kids in the area.

“Our guys are pretty lucky and fortunate in the situations they’re in, and there are people that are less fortunate,” Concord Men’s Head Coach, Todd May, said. “So trying to teach them a few life lessons through that and helping out in the community, helping these people that are a little bit less fortunate than they are. Our guys are doing a good job here with lifting and doing a little bit extra activity with the presents.”

The men will be back on the basketball court on Sunday, hosting Frostburg State.
