FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. (WVVA) - The Fayette County Sheriffs Office announced a new addition to their K-9 unit.
Waeylin, a one year old Bloodhound, has been working with Deputy First Class Ryan Fox Since October to complete his training for Tracking.
“These K-9s are more than just partners, we consider them family,” said Sheriff Fridley. “Our K-9s are a valuable assets to not only our county but surrounding counties as well. They are always on call and available to respond to provide assistance to other law enforcement agencies throughout the area. We look forward to seeing the great work Waeylin will do in his career with our department.”
DFC Fox hopes that Waeylin will be fully certified through the West Virginia Police k-9 Association sometime next year.
