November Teacher of the Month: Zachary Meadows

MATOAKA, W.Va. (WVVA) - WVVA is proud to partner with Cole Chevy to recognize teachers and students from across the two Virginias.

Our November Teacher of the Month is Zachary Meadows.

Mr. Meadows is in the middle of his second year of teaching at Lashmeet/Matoaka Elementary School. The nomination we received says that he is willing to go the extra mile for his students, and is always there for them.

“Teaching heams the world to me,” Meadows said. “That’s part of why I became a teacher, just because I love working with kids and I love seeing that light bulb go off in their head.”

Principal Leeann Taylor says that he is a great teacher, and is very dedicated to all of his students.

“He genuinely cares for the wellbeing of all of his students,” Taylor explained. “And that they are all able to be successful in his classroom.”
