Local places to find meals for Thanksgiving

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (WVVA) - With Thanksgiving approaching fast we found some places that will be giving away food this week to those who may need it.

Dolly’s Diner is offering free meals on Thanksgiving to anyone who needs it. They will begin serving meals at 11:30 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m. or until the food is gone.

Tender Mercies Ministries is giving away boxes of food Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. You must bring photo I.D. and proof of residency to get the food.

The Bluefield Union Mission is also giving away food on Wednesday. They are taking signups tomorrow 11/23 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Food pickup will be on Wednesday 11/24 at 11 a.m.

In Raleigh County there will be a food giveaway at Linda K. Epling Stadium on 11/24 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. while supplies last. The address of the stadium 200 Stadium Drive Beckley, WV 25801.
