Local athlete seeking to be named to be a part of Hall of Fame Team

BLUEFIELD, Va. (WVVA) - A local athlete is trying to be named be a part of the 2021 Great American Rivalry Series Athlete Hall of Fame Team. The partnership is with the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton Ohio. Ben Morgan of Graham High School has been nominated by his team to represent the school. Ben is a multi-sport athlete that includes not only football and soccer but basketball and golf as well.

Ben has a GPA well over 4.0 and is a member of many clubs including The Beta Honor Society, environmental club and pep club.

“He’s definitely well deserving. He spends a lot of time academically as well as athletics and he’s just the stereotype of a scholar athlete. He is a great example for our younger kids that can play sports, which he plays multiple sports and be able to do well in the classroom, which he strives to do that.” said Ronnie Davis who is the Athletic Director at Graham High School.
