A more comfortable day ahead today, with temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s across the region, and much drier air as high pressure moves in behind the front that left us last night. As the high pressure shifts eastward, southerly winds will bring in more warm air and a little more moisture back into our area tonight. Skies will become partly cloudy with mild overnight lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Saturday will be warmer, in the mid to upper 80s, but it still doesn't look like we'll see lemonade weather anytime soon in Bluefield. Cloud cover will increase late Saturday going into Sunday, and a chance of showers and thunderstorms will return on Sunday, with another approaching cold front. As the front passes Monday, expect showers and storms to continue for the first day of next week, then high pressure will again dry us out by Tuesday. Another unseasonably cool spell will hit us as the front passes, with temperatures next week for the most part, staying in the low to mid 70s.
