Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible through the remainder of the day and overnight as a cold front slowly moves toward the Southeast coast. Any thunderstorms will contain heavy rain, but severe weather is unlikely. Skies stay mostly cloudy and temperatures remain in the 60s with lingering high humidity. Showers are looking likely in the morning as an upper level disturbance travels along the front. We may see some thunderstorms early Thursday as well, but again-nothing severe expected. As the front moves south, wet weather will come to an end from northwest to southeast through the early afternoon.

High pressure builds in Thursday evening, clearing skies and dropping dew points and temperatures. Lows will dip into the 50s for Friday morning, giving us a good ‘windows open' night. Friday is looking sunny and pleasant with high temps near 80 and despite some late clouds, Saturday will get even warmer with highs in the mid 80s. The end of the weekend turns unsettled as a surface warm front moves to the north and cold front approaches from the west. Also, an upper level disturbance will pass through, bringing a good chance for showers and thunderstorms. Wet weather is possible Monday, but mainly early then we cool back to the lower 70s for Tuesday and Wednesday.
