High pressure remains in control tonight, keeping skies clear and allowing temperatures to get cold. However, a southeasterly flow will allow for gusty winds at times late along hilltops and downwind of the mountains. Winds will keep frost from forming for these locations and will keep lows closer to 30. Valleys where winds are light or calm will see a heavy frost with lows falling into the 20s. Thursday begins cold but warms up quickly under sunny skies. High pressure will keep cool air wedged against the mountains, so the Greenbrier valley will stay in the mid 50s in the afternoon, but west of I77 will see some 60s. High clouds will move in Thursday night, keeping temps above freezing for most.

High pressure moves out and an approaching cold front will push more clouds along with a southerly wind flow back into the area. Friday's highs climb back to the 60s for most with more clouds than sun, but it looks to stay dry. A cold front with very little, if any, precip will pass through early Saturday morning. Skies look to stay partly cloudy to mostly sunny in the afternoon which will help bring temps back to the mid 60s. Easter Sunday looks a bit warmer with high temps near 70 and a mix of sun and clouds. Another cold front will bring back the chance for wet weather by late Monday and Tuesday.
