A stalled out frontal boundary continues to sit just to the north of our area as it fizzles out. An area of low pressure well off towards our west will intensify and pass us to the north around mid-week.
For tonight, shower/thunderstorm activity will be on the decrease with lows in the upper 50s. Although chances are small, a few pop-up showers/thunderstorms cannot be ruled out for Monday and Tuesday with highs in the low to mid 80s. Chances for rain and/or storms will be lowest on Tuesday (only at 20%).
An area of low pressure begins to influence our weather starting on Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms are a possibility with highs in the low 80s. This activity looks to continue for Thursday and Friday with highs in the upper to low 70s as a cold front approaches the area by Friday. Conditions should clear out by next weekend with mostly sunny skies and highs around 70. Big emphasis on the word "should" as models have not been doing so well with this system. We will continue to monitor its progress.
