With a front on the way, expect a chance for wider-spread scattered showers and thunderstorms today, especially late tonight into tomorrow morning. Today should be our last hot day today for while, with temperatures reaching the mid to upper 80s. The humidity will also stick around for the next 24 hours, until the front passes us late Thursday afternoon/evening, and drier air moves in for Friday. Tonight, lows will be mild again, in the mid to upper 60s across the board. The best chance for showers and thunderstorms will be from around 6:00pm tonight onward until around 6:00am tomorrow morning. As the cold front makes its way into the state, Thursday will be cooler, with highs in the mid to upper 70s, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the entire day. A gradual clearing will occur early Friday morning, so lows Thursday night should be cooler, dropping into the upper 50s. As high pressure moves in behind the front, we will see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies on Friday and Saturday, with temperatures in the upper 70s. A chance of rain will return on Sunday, as a disturbance with an associated front will trek towards us, upping chances for thunderstorms.
