PRINCETON, WV (WVVA) -

Today at Pikeview High School where Panthers swimmer Braxton Justice has made it official that he will be continuing his career in the pool at the next level. Justice is headed to Emory & Henry where he joins the young Wasps swim program and a chance to just keep swimming is something that he says he's grateful for.

"It's always been a big dream of mine to actually go to college and swim ever since I started this. This is what i wanted to be. Just a college swimmer, get to college, be there and swim and very excited. So I'm excited to get down there and really hammer in with my program," Justice said.

That however was not the only Panther to sign on Thursday afternoon. Cross country runner Joshua Hager set his collegiate plans in stone signing on to run cross country for Bluefield State College. An unexpected opportunity that he simply said he had to run with.

"It's great man. It's ecstatic really. I mean never would I think I would get this far. It's amazing really. I didn't think it was going to happen really but then I started getting good at cross country and track and then I was like, oh I guess this opens up opportunities for me," Hager said.
