Posted:

After a heroic 51 point performance from Tommy Bolte in a win over Fairmont State in the Mountain East Conference Tournament quarterfinals, the Mountain Lions were unable to keep the magic going on Saturday as they fell to Wheeling Jesuit 83-69. Bolte finished with a team high 28 points. B.J. Hamlet finished in double figures. Preston Boswell led the Cardinals with 23 points. MEC Player of the Year Haywood Highsmith had 22 points and 13 rebounds. Jesuit will move to face off with Charleston tomorrow afternoon in the MEC Championship game at the Charleston Civic Center.
