BECKLEY, WV (WVVA) -

A Raleigh County pastor is looking to raise some money for his church by cooking up some good food for the community.

The Church of God of America will be selling all sorts of food starting Saturday morning at 10:00, such as Angus burgers, chili dogs, chicken wings and lemon pound cake.

Pastor Randy Adkins says the money brought in will help ensure the church fulfills its mission of serving the community, such as paying visits to those who are sick and shut-in.

"You got the light bill, you got the electric bill, you got the supplies for downstairs, so it's ongoing, it's just ongoing,” Adkins said. “Anybody can come. Anybody. The Bible says, 'Whosoever will, let them come,' so we ask everybody to come on out."

Church of God of America will be serving food up until 4:00 p.m. Saturday.

They are located at 200 Bair St., right off S. Kanawha St.

If you can't make it out, they will deliver.
