National Signing Day takes over the two Virginia's

National Signing Day consumed the two Virginia's on Wednesday. Tons of hard work and dedication throughout the years finally culminating into this..thousands of athletes from across the country...including right here in the two Virginia's having their dreams become a reality.

Football- Graham- Taymon Cooke signs with West Virginia 

                Bluefield- Poppi Coleman signs with Concord

                Beckley- Peyton Thomas and Michael Armes sign with Alderson Broaddus

                 James Monroe- Grant Mohler signs with Concord.

                Independence- Robbie Cochran and Logan Muncy sign with Concord. 

                Midland Trail- Thomas Ferris, Hunter Darby and Dillon Brasse  sign with Concord. 

                Summers County- Ben Neal signs with Alderson Broaddus. Tucker Lilly and Andrew Richmond sign with Concord

                Westside- Bryce Nelson signs with West Virginia Wesleyan. Ben Price and Dylan Chapman sign with Concord.

                Narrows- Matthew Mullins signs with Bluefield College. Gavin Pruett signs with Concord. 

Soccer-

             Bluefield- Savannah Smith signs with Concord. Alyssa Lester signs with Shepherd.

             Princeton- Brittany Dye signs with Shepherd

    Blue Jays top Rays as season winds down

    The Princeton Rays may have already won the Mercer Cup trophy, but the Blue Jays are still in contention to win the East Division of the Appalachian League.  On Sunday night, the Blue Jays and Rays faced off with only three games separating the two teams at the top of the division standings.  At the end of the day, the Blue Jays came out victorious, winning the game 9-5.  The two Mercer County squads will face off at 7pm on Monday for the last time of the season. More >>
