Mountaineers survive against Oklahoma

NORMAN, Okla -

West Virginia turned things around after a dominating win over Kansas State on Saturday. Just 48 hours later the Mountaineers returned to the floor and held off Oklahoma in Norman 75-73. The win gives the Mountaineers the regular season sweep over the Sooners. Lamont West had 17 points, including five first half three pointers off of the bench, to lead the Mountaineers. Trae Young had 32 points to lead the Sooners. West Virginia improves to 18-6 overall and 7-4 in the Big 12. Up next, the Mountaineers host Oklahoma State on Saturday afternoon.
