Princeton Indoor Golf offers winter options

When the weather is cold and dreary outside, many golfers can grow restless. But there's a new way to keep your skills sharp, even in the winter.

Princeton Indoor Golf has been open since last Spring. Owner Brent Veneri says you can reserve the simulator for one-hour blocks. "There's a lot of feedback you can look at on the screen. It gives you the distance, your ball speed, launch angle, your back spin, side spin, stuff like that. It helps you... helps keep you sharp."
Princeton Indoor Golf has recently caught the eye of Princeton High School golf coach Opie McKinney. "Since cold weather set in, we've been here pretty often. Usually 2-3 times a week."
At Indoor Golf, there's 8 courses a player can choose from. Coach McKinney explains the skills they work on. "We start off with the simulator on the driving range, and work on our irons and our drives. Then we go.. the last hour we kind of have fun, and play 9-holes."
One of his students, Nathaniel Bailey, says there's definitely parts of his game he's trying to improve. "I've been working on getting my launch angle up, on my irons. Hitting drives. Working on my 3-wood."
