Posted:

It had been three weeks since the Marshall Thundering Herd had last taken the field for senior night against Southern Miss. After missing out on a bowl last season, the Herd made it count this year with a 31-28 victory over Colorado State in Saturday's Gildan New Mexico Bowl. Keion Davis had 141 yards on 18 carries, including a 90-yard touchdown. Tyler King also contributed 106 yards on six carries in the win. Tyre Brady and Ryan Yurachek each had a touchdown catch in the victory. The Herd have now won their last six bowl game appearances. Marshall closes out the season with a record of 8-5.
