UPDATE: 3 charged in Raleigh County for dumping body of OD victim

RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WVVA) -

Deputies in Raleigh County say the third suspect accused of dumping the body of a suspected drug overdose victim has turned himself in.

Rayburn Buchanan, Jr. is charged with transporting and concealing a deceased body and conspiracy. Buchanan turned himself Friday afternoon.  Michael Justice, II and Ashley Treadway, of Crab Orchard, face similar charges. They were arrested on Thursday and are currently being held in Southern Regional Jail.

The body of Jason McNeely, 28, of Logan County was discovered on May 2 in a wooded area on Cernuto Road near Crab Orchard. He was last seen on April 29 in Beckley.

According to Cpl. Detective H.W. Long II with the Raleigh County Sheriff's Office, McNeely "died from a possible drug overdose" at a residence on Beckett Drive. McNeely's body was hidden for a time at the residence before being dumped.

A man and woman in Raleigh County are charged with dumping the body of a suspected drug overdose victim. A third suspect is still at large.

Deputies are still looking for Rayburn Buchanan, Jr. He is wanted on similar charges.
