Sonic Drive-In back in business in Princeton

A familiar eating option has reopened in Princeton.

The Sonic Drive-In on Stafford Drive opened its doors after being closed for several years. The location has new ownership and will create around 30 to 35 full and part-time employees.

Along with the re-opening, customers can expect to see some improvements to the drive-in experience.

“It's an upgrade from what they used to have. It allows the customers to see what they are ordering and see if it's a correct order. It gives them a little bit more interaction to be able to use their credit cards there and pay at the stalls. It makes it a lot easier,” says field supervisor Jackie Bowling.

Saturday will mark the location's official grand opening. The Princeton Sonic will operate from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. weekdays and will stay open an extra hour on the weekends.
