(WVVA) Clouds will increase tonight ahead of a cold front that will move our way on Thursday. Overnight lows will not be as chilly as they were Wednesday morning. Lows will be in the 40s and even a few 50s in western parts of the viewing area. Temperatures may actually rise after midnight in western sections of our region.
Rain chances will go up on Thursday as the front moves through. A few rumbles of thunder are possible, but overall rain totals will not be very impressive. Dry weather will move our way for Friday as high pressure builds into the area. Warm temperatures are expected for the next several days. Highs on Saturday will likely be in the lower 70s with quite a bit of sunshine expected.
A cold front will move our way on Sunday, but it will likely be a dry front and will not produce much more than a few sprinkles and clouds. Dry and warm weather will continue into early next week.
