(WVVA) Skies will be mostly clear tonight with patchy fog valley fog forming late. Temperatures will be much cooler, dipping into the middle and upper 40s by Wednesday morning. A few warmer spots will remain in the low 50s, but the trend tonight will be for cooler temperatures.
A mix of sun and clouds is expected on Wednesday, but clouds will increase late in the day. An isolated shower is possible late, but most of the wet weather will hold off until Wednesday night.
An upper level low will move our way on Thursday along with a cold front. Mostly cloudy conditions are expected on Thursday along with scattered showers. Highs will be in the lower 60s with overnight lows in the upper 40s.
The cool weather will stick around through Saturday as the upper low spins to our west. Scattered showers are expected on Friday and Saturday with highs in the middle and upper 60s. Drier and warmer weather is in the forecast for Sunday and early next week.
