Cooler weather will continue overnight and skies will remain partly cloudy. Overnight lows will be in the 50s in most areas, but a few deeper valleys may fall into the upper 40s by early Monday morning. Patchy dense fog is possible overnight, especially in valleys. Sun and clouds are expected on Monday and temperatures will begin to warm up. Highs will be near 80s in most areas.
We will experience a southeasterly flow at the surface and that will cause more clouds in areas east of I-77. Most areas will stay dry on Monday, but there is a 20% chance of an isolated afternoon shower thanks to the southeasterly flow. Tuesday is looking like it will be a dry day with highs in the lower 80s. A cold front will approach the area by Wednesday evening, giving us a chance of a few showers.
High pressure will move into the area for Thursday and Friday, but our rain chances will go up next weekend. A stronger cold front is expected to move our way by Sunday, causing rain showers and thunderstorms.
