CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia's Senate says it's not a nuisance for firefighters to pass their empty boots or buckets in traffic to raise money. The Senate has voted unanimously for legislation that also says it's neither an obstruction nor a nuisance for school-sponsored groups or bona vide charitable organizations to solicit money in roadways.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia's Senate has unanimously approved legislation that allows leashed dogs to track mortally wounded deer or bear. The bill, approved 33-0 Friday, now goes to the House.
