The body of 13-year-old Nicole Lovell was found four days after she vanished from her Blacksburg home.
David Eisenhauer, 18, and Nicole Keepers, 19, are charged in connection with the murder of Nicole Lovell, 13, of Blacksburg, VA.
(WVVA) The father of 13-year-old murder victim Nicole Lovell will appear on The Dr. Phil Show Wednesday on WVVA.
David Lovell tells host Phil McGraw that he caught Nicole trying to contact older guys.
“Nicole had been talking to older guys. I took her phone from her," says David Lovell
Nicole's dad says he can't look at photo of David Eisenhauer, 18; a Virginia Tech student charged with the abduction and first degree murder of Nicole Lovell. Police say Eisenhauer had help. Virginia Tech student Nicole Keepers, 19, is charged with accessory to murder before and after the fact and illegally disposing of Nicole's body.
“Her mugshot, it looks like she has a scar going down her face. I’m pretty sure that would have been my daughter trying to fight back,” says David Lovell.
Nicole Lovell vanished on January 27; climbing out of the bedroom of her Blacksburg home. Her body was found four days later just across the state line in North Carolina.
A friend of the teen tells the Washington Post that Nicole talked about running away and starting a family with Eisenhauer. Natasha Bryant says Nicole Lovell met Eisenhauer online and described him as 'funny and really nice.'
More than 100 people gathered in downtown Blacksburg Monday night to honor the late teen. Blue Christmas lights were strung around light poles as those in attendance lit candles in remembrance.
David Lovell will appear on The Dr. Phil Show at 3 p.m. Wednesday on WVVA-TV.
