UPDATE: Man wanted in connection to two murders in Marlinton in custody

MARLINTON, WV (WVVA) - According to West Virginia State police, the man wanted in connection to a double homicide in Marlinton, WV is now in custody at the Allegheny Sheriff's Department in Virginia.

Authorities in the Two Virginias had been searching for Aaron J. Bussard, 22, of Marlinton, since Friday.

According to West Virginia State Police, while a trooper from the Marlinton Detachment was conducting a welfare check on Friday, he discovered two homicide victims at the home on Crow Hill Drive.

The trooper also discovered the victims' car, a black Honda Pilot with the West Virginia tag LE09, was missing.

State police say probable cause led to an arrest warrant for Bussard for grand larceny of the vehicle.  Police say he's also a person of interest in the murders.  

Bussard is considered armed and dangerous and his whereabouts are still unknown.  The Bath County, VA sheriff's department is also aiding in the search.

Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact state police.

According to a Facebook post from the Bath County Sheriff's Office, authorities are looking for the man pictured.

They say the double homicides happened in Marlinton in Pocahontas County.

The identity of the 22-year-old suspect is not being released at this time, but he is believed to be armed and dangerous.

He is around 265 pounds and believed to be in a 2007 black Honda Pilot with the West Virginia tag LE09.
