(WVVA) High pressure will continue to provide us with stable weather for at least one more day. We are expecting a mix of sun and clouds on Friday, with high clouds increasing late in the day from the west. High temperatures will be in the lower 60s and overnight lows tonight will be in the 40s.
More clouds are in the forecast on Saturday and we do have a slight chance of seeing a rain shower as a cold front to our west begins to approach the area. Most areas will stay dry as the latest models have slowed down the speed of this front. Temperatures on Saturday will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s, still above normal for this time of year.
Our chances of rain start to go up on Sunday and we will maintain a chance for a few rain showers on Monday. A stronger cold front will move through on Tuesday, giving us a chance of rain and ushering in cooler by midweek.
