Some workers at The Greenbrier experiencing technical glitch with paychecks

In response to an inquiry by WVVA News, the communications director for The Greenbrier sent a one-page statement to explain why some employees did not get their paychecks deposited this week.

Erik Hastings, Director of Communications with The Greenbrier, sent a letter to WVVA News from EIN, Employers' Innovative Network, LLC, dated November 11, 2015, that states:

"Due to unforeseen and unexpected issues with a third party's software program, a group of employees at the Greenbrier were not paid this week when they should have been.  The Greenbrier had no role in the software issue and was not in any way responsible for the untimely payment issue.  The Veterans Day banking holiday has pushed the reconciliation of the issue 24 hours.  We are diligently taking care of the problem and do not anticipate any other issues as we move forward.  We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused to affected employees."

The letter is signed by Jeff Mullins, President of EIN.  Mullins is also a Republican State Senator from Raleigh County.

The Greenbrier is owned by Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jim Justice.
