BLUEFIELD, WV (WVVA) A Bluefield man is charged with multiple counts of wanton endangerment after police say he shot up a woman's car and apartment.

According to court documents, the motive behind the incident appears to be a disagreement over a previous insurance claim.

Dante Baker is charged with seven counts of wanton endangerment. He was arraigned Tuesday morning in Bluefield, WV in front of Magistrate Susan Honaker. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.

On Saturday, police responded to a call on 914 Bland Street after two cars were shot-up; a Chrysler 300 and Cadillac Escalade. Officers also noticed the front glass door of the apartment was shot as well as a bench beside the door. The owner of the vehicles told police that the day before Baker came to her home and stated that he was "going to shoot her house up." According to the victim, Baker had previously wrecked his vehicle near her residence. She turned it in to the insurance company which supposedly cost Baker money.

Baker is scheduled to be arraigned on separate charges Tuesday night in Princeton. Police say Baker is also a suspect in a previous shots fired incident on Bland Street earlier this month.
