UPDATE: 2 questioned in connection with shots fired in Bluefield

Police in Bluefield have questioned two people described as suspects possibly linked to the shots fired incident on Bland Street.

Detective K.L. Adams says the individuals were questioned around 7:30 p.m. Monday. No names have been released and no arrests have been made.

The shots fired call came in shortly after noon on Monday at the intersection of Bland and Preston streets. Police initially started searching for four people in the case, two male subjects who fired shots and two other 'persons of interest.'

Cars parked in the lot of a local convenience store were damaged during the incident. Police have also seized a truck on Jones Street with bullet holes in it. Investigators believe the crime is related to a shots fired call that occurred Sunday night nearby.

Police in Bluefield, WV are looking for several people involved in a shots fired incident on Bland Street.

It happened around 12:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Bland and Preston streets. According to Chief Dennis Dillow, two male subjects fired shots. Police are also searching for two other 'persons of interest' in the case.

Cars parked in the lot of a local convenience store were damaged during the incident. Police have also seized a truck on Jones Street with bullet holes in it. Police say the vehicle is now at an undisclosed location. A K-9 unit with the Mercer County Sheriff's Office searched the area earlier on Monday.

Investigators believe the crime is related to a shots fired call that occurred Sunday night nearby on Bland Street.
