Fayette Little League coach accused of sending boys sexual messages

A Fayette County volunteer Little League baseball coach is arrested after officers say he sent sexually explicit messages to several young boys, all under the age of 14.

John Hunter Krise, 26, of Fayetteville was arrested Friday morning.  He's charged with two counts of Sexual Abuse by a Parent, Guardian, Custodian or Person in Position of Trust in Relation to a Minor Child and three counts of Soliciting a Minor via a Computer.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office says Krise was doing what's called "grooming" where he tries to befriend the children and gain their trust before attempting to sexually abuse them.

However, they do not believe the relationships had progressed to physical contact yet.

The prosecutor's office says they are still investigating and believe other victims could be out there.

Anyone with information should contact the Fayette County Sheriff's Office Detective Bureau at (304) 574-4216 or their Facebook Page.

Krise is currently being held on a $250,000. If he is able to post bond, the sheriff's office says Krise will have to wear a GPS monitoring device and have no contact with any children.
