The woman accused in the slaying of a Raleigh County minister appears in court.

Camille Browne, 19, entered a plea of not guilty to the murder of Ron Browning, 68, on Tuesday in Circuit Court. Browning, who was a pastor at Cool Ridge Community Church and a Chaplin and volunteer at Raleigh General Hospital, was killed on February 7 at his home on Odessa Avenue in Beckley. Police say Browne was found covered in blood, feces, and urine. She told investigators that she had killed a man with gray hair earlier that day.

Browne was indicted on a first degree murder charge by the Grand Jury in Raleigh County. She is currently being held in Southern Regional Jail on a $200,000 bond.
