UPDATE: Deshawn Hairston turned himself in to WV State Police in Welch on Saturday night. 

He is now in police custody.

PREMIER (WVVA)- Troopers are searching for a man after an alleged shooting at the Premier Mobile Home Park in Premier, McDowell County.

According to Trooper J.R. Coburn with WV State Police in Welch, Deshawn Hairston, 25, of Bluefield, West Virginia, allegedly shot a man in the groin area.

Trooper Coburn says the shooting happened around 2:00AM on Saturday, after a domestic situation involving Deshawn's girlfriend and the victim's daughter.

Trooper Coburn says Hairston used an unknown caliber weapon. He is considered armed and dangerous. Hairston frequents the Gary and Maybeury area of McDowell County.
