(WVVA) Snow showers gradually come to an end this evening and early Monday night and winds will lighten after midnight as high pressure builds in. Temperatures fall into the teens and stay there through morning with some breaks in cloud cover.

Wind chills will be in the single digits early, then ease as winds calm. Icy, slick roads are still a concern through Tuesday morning, so travel with caution. Sunshine returns Tuesday with a light westerly breeze.

Tuesday temperatures will max out in the 30s for most, but as a stronger southwesterly flow kicks in Wednesday, temps max out in the mid to upper 40s with plenty of sun.
