2 arrested for burglarizing Spanishburg home

PRINCETON, WV (WVVA) Two men are busted on burglary charges after a 10 year old girl discovers her home had been broken into.

The child noticed her Spanishburg home was broken into after school on Tuesday afternoon. She called 911 and Senior Deputy D.A. Furches with the Mercer County Sheriff's Office was assigned the case. Around 6 p.m. Furches contacted Cpl P.H. Shrewsbury with the West Virginia State Police about the crime. At that point, Shrewsbury realized he saw the suspects peel out of the burglarized home in a white Ford Ranger earlier that day. Shrewsbury started looking for the vehicle and found it just after 7 p.m.

Joshua Miller, 31, and Billy Dunnigan, 36, both of Princeton were arrested on the following charges; burglary, conspiracy, grand larceny, and destruction of property.

Senior Deputy D.A. Furches found $16,000 in jewelry and multiple guns stolen from the Spanishburg home in their possession.
