UPDATE: Woman arrested in Gino's theft


In Fayette County, a woman is behind bars after a break-in and theft in Ansted.

According to Sheriff Steve Kessler, 27-year-old Sheena Darlene Fox of Ansted allegedly stole money from the Gino's restaurant Monday.

She is being charged with unlawful entering and attempt to commit a felony.

Fox is in Southern Regional Jail. Her bond is set at $75,000.


(News Release)  The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is investigating a theft that occurred early this morning in the Ansted area of Fayette County. 

Sheriff Steve Kessler released the following information concerning this investigation:

At approximately 4:30 am on Monday, December 22, 2014 an individual entered the Gino's Restaurant located on U.S. Route 60 in Ansted. This individual stole a small amount of money from this business, then fled from the scene.

The suspect is described as a white female, approximately 5-06 to 5-10, with a slender to medium build. She has medium-length light-colored hair, possibly blonde. She was wearing shorts, a long warm-up type jacket, a ball cap and only one shoe at the time of this incident. Based on the preliminary investigation into this incident, Deputies believe that the suspect may be a current or former employee of Gino's. Anyone having any information concerning the possible identity of this individual is asked to contact the Fayette County 911 Center at (304) 574-3590 or Crime Stoppers at (304) 255-7867.
