(WVVA) According to the National Retail Federation, 42 percent of holiday shoppers plan to buy toys as gifts.

A recent survey by NRF indicates that one out of every five parents (20 percent) plan to buy merchandise from the hit Disney film Frozen for the young lady in their lives. It will be the first time in the survey's eleven year history that Barbie will not hold the top spot. For boys, LEGO remains the top toy at 14.2 percent. The LEGO brand is also a must buy for girls, holding on to the number six spot.
