2 arrested for armed robbery of Princeton store

MERCER COUNTY (WVVA) Deputies in Mercer County arrest a man and woman for the armed robbery of a convenience store in Princeton.

Tiffany Carruthers, 26, of Princeton and Anthony Potter, 31, of Bluefield are charged with the armed robbery of the Village Store on November 1. They are also charged with conspiracy and grand larceny. According to Chief Deputy D.B. Bailey, a search warrant was obtained and the Carruthers and Potter were arrested at the Princeton Village Apartments.

In security video obtained by WVVA, the pair was wearing masks and carrying guns at the time of the robbery. The video accompanying this story is a WVVA report from Nov. 2. You may not be able to view the video from your mobile phone.

Potter also faces a drug charge for distribution of cocaine base.
