BLUEFIELD (WVVA) –Two Greenbrier County men pled guilty to federal drug charges.

Roger Lee Deem, 60, of Ronceverte and David E. Williams, 54, of Lewisburg both admit to using a telephone to commit a felony by having a telephone conversation with each other to make arrangements to purchase oxycodone pills.

According to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin, the conversation took place on April 25, 2014 while the two men were in Greenbrier County. On April 26, Deem and Williams traveled to Princeton, WV to obtain 375 oxycodone pills (30 milligrams each) from a confidential informant. They were arrested at that time.

The investigation was conducted by the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force. The Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force provided assistance.

Deem and Williams each face up to four years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine. They are scheduled to be sentenced on December 16
