UPDATE: Police investigate bomb threat at Mercer Co. Courthouse.

PRINCETON (WVVA)- The Mercer County  Courthouse has reopened.

Deputies sent the bomb threat letter off to the lab to be examined.. 

PRINCETON (WVVA) -Law enforcement is investigating a reported bomb threat at the Mercer County Courthouse. Shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday, 911 officials urged people not to go near the area. The scene was cleared around 11:45 a.m.

The main building at the Mercer County Courthouse will remain closed Wednesday- including offices for Judge Derek Swope and Judge William Sadler. All other judicial offices are open.
